About CueTime

CueTime builds professional timing solutions for live events — conferences, broadcasts, festivals, and theaters. Our hardware and software work together to keep production teams aligned and speakers on time. We're a small, fast-moving team obsessed with reliability, clean design, and tools that professionals actually want to use.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own and evolve the CueTime web application — the command center that production teams use to control timers, messages, cues, and devices during live shows.

You'll work directly with our product team, designers, and backend engineers to build intuitive, real-time interfaces that perform flawlessly under pressure.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain the CueTime web app (React, TypeScript, WebSockets)
  • Own features from concept to deployment — session management, timer controls, cue systems, device sync
  • Ensure real-time performance and reliability for users running live events
  • Collaborate with designers to ship polished, responsive UIs
  • Optimize for multiple devices — desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Participate in code reviews and technical planning

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of frontend engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
  • Experience with WebSockets or real-time data synchronization
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and tested code
  • Bonus: Experience with Electron, Tailwind, or Storybook
  • Bonus: Interest in live events, AV technology, or production tools

Why Join CueTime

  • Work on tools used by real production teams at real events
  • Small team — your impact is immediate and visible
  • Remote-friendly culture
  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Home office stipend
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
